History of The Darius Slay
Darius Slay is a professional American football player who currently plays as a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL) . He was born on January 1, 1991, in Brunswick, Georgia, and grew up in the small town of Brunswick. Slay attended Brunswick High School, where he played high school football as a wide receiver and defensive back. He also ran track and field, participating in events such as the 100-meter dash and the 4x100 relay. After graduating from high school, Slay attended Mississippi State University, where he played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs from 2009 to 2012. During his time at Mississippi State, Slay was a two-year starter and was named first-team All-SEC in 2012. In the 2013 NFL Draft, Slay was selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round, 36th overall.
